Thank you for your interest in applying to attend The Studion, a two-year, part-time training in the ministry of spiritual direction in the Christian tradition. We are confident that this training will be a significant time of personal growth and preparation for ministry. We look forward to receiving your application.
This application is for our third cohort which is slated to begin March 15, 2020. Please refer to the dates page for a complete list of dates and more information.
The application process will consist of four parts: 1) your response to a series of application questions; 2) two reference letters; 3) an interview; and 4) an institutional administrative registration.
The deadline for the first and second parts of this application process is November 30, 2019.

The questions that follow are intended to allow us to get to know you; but they are also a way for you to reflect on your life, your faith-journey and your readiness for training in spiritual direction.
Please provide two reference letters: one from a spiritual leader in your faith community (Pastor, Priest, Deacon, etc.), and another from a colleague or co-worker in ministry.

We strongly recommend that participants begin to see a spiritual director before the program begins. This will help with your understanding of spiritual direction and may help in discerning whether the program is for you. Studion facilitators will be happy to help applicants find a spiritual director if needed.
